You know what laminated brows look like: tall, straight hairs that appear as if they were just brushed up with a spoolie and set with gel, yet keep their shape for days on end.
But how do you get them to stick that way?
At Beauty and Bubbles, it is done using a gentle perm solution, neutralizing lotion, and moisturizing treatment to temporarily relax and redirect your brow hairs upwards and into place. Because the hairs are relaxed, they appear longer, giving the effect of a larger brow shape, The hairs also become more pliable after lamination, making this a great service if you are looking for a ‘fluffy’ brow without the need for a brow gel, or if your natural brow hairs are curly, unruly, or point downwards.
Eyebrow Tinting
Using a semi-permanent dye, eyelashes and eyebrows are enhanced with colour that lasts approximately 2-3 weeks. Eyelash tinting is a great alternative for those looking to enhance light to medium coloured lashes without having to use mascara. Eyebrow tinting is a great alternative for those who like to have a more defined brow, but who do not wish to fill in the brows each day with a pencil or powder.
Do you wish you could add curl to your stubbornly straight lashes but find that mechanical eyelash curlers don’t do the trick? Are you flummoxed by false lashes or are you too impatient to sit through getting lash extensions? Then a lash lift could be just the treatment for you!
Lash lift treatment takes approximately fifty minutes from start to finish.
A lash lift is not suitable for anyone with:
Very short lashes or no lashes at all
Extremely sensitive skin
Skin allergies. How should I prepare for my lash lift appointment?
You should follow these guidelines in preparation for your lash lift appointment:
Avoid wearing eye makeup (especially mascara) to the appointment
Remove contact lenses beforehand if you are a lens wearer
Shower and wash your hair beforehand – you should not get your freshly-lifted lashes wet for at least 24 hours after application.
How can I maintain my lash lift?
We recommend the following aftercare instructions for the first 24 hours after your lash lift:
– Avoid getting lashes wet (i.e. no showering, face-washing, swimming or profuse sweating)
– Avoid wearing mascara (especially waterproof mascara) or other eye makeup
– Avoid rubbing lashes into your pillow at night. In order to keep your lashes looking their best, we recommend that you condition your lashes by applying a moisturizer such as coconut oil or a facial oil nightly. Otherwise, lash lifts are very low maintenance and require no specific aftercare.
What is Threading?
Threading is a type of hair removal that originated in India, Iran, and central Asia. Threading practitioners use a twisted cotton thread to remove several hairs at a time. Beauty and Bubbles use threading technique for hair removal on the face, including eyebrows, upper lip, chin, and cheeks.

Eyelash extensions are a semi permanent solution for making eyelashes look made up without mascara. You also have many options with eyelash extensions. At Beauty and Bubbles you can choose the length, type of curl, and thickness of the extensions to customize your desire look. Enhance your lash line with soft and elegant eyelash extensions. These extensions are comfortable and very lightweight, adding curl, length and thickness without weighing down the eyelids.
We offer Classic, Hybrid and Volume Lashes.
In Classic lashing, the technician adds one artificial eyelash to each one of your eligible natural lashes to create a beautifully sophisticated look. In Volume lashing, the technician adds 2-3 lightweight artificial eyelash extensions to each one of your eligible natural lashes for a fuller and more glamorous look. A Hybrid lash look combines the Classic and Volume looks to give a natural and airy lash. We have many different lengths to customize your desired look from natural to dramatic. Your lash technician will discuss your desired look with you before applying any lashes.
Eyelash extensions stay adhered to your lashes until your natural lash sheds. Each individual’s lash cycle varies but normally we recommend a fill approximately every 2-3 weeks to maintain your desired look.

Eyelash Extension (refill)
A lash fill is the removal of grown out extensions, then new lash extensions are applied to re growth. To keep her lashes looking full and lush, you’ll need a lash fill. Refills are there to fill any gaps caused by the natural shedding of lashes in between full sets. At Beauty and Bubbles, we require clients to make refill appointments every two to three weeks; wait any longer and we book your refill as a new, full set.
Strip Lash Application
False lashes are a full strip of lashes that extend across your entire eyelid. Our makeup artist will cut and customize it then apply to your eyelid with a thin layer of glue.
How long does a lash lift last?
The results of a lash lift typically last between four to six weeks depending on the growth cycle of your lashes. As your permed lashes naturally shed, straight lashes will grow out behind them. Therefore, we recommend a lash re-perm after six weeks to maintain results.
Can I wear mascara on my lifted lashes?
You are free to use whatever eye makeup (including mascara) you like after having a lash lift. However, you should wait 24 hours following your treatment before applying any eye makeup.
Can I combine a lash lift with a lash tint?
Absolutely! For those who would like to add depth and darkness to their lashes, we offer combination lash lifting and lash tinting services. A combination lash lift and tinting treatment takes one hour and fifteen minutes. The results of a lash tint typically last three weeks.
